Practical Tips on Practicing Gratitude as a Senior
When aging in place, it can seem like a challenge to do even the basics of living. Things become more difficult, and things seem gloomier than they were when you were younger. It can be hard to appreciate the small things in life, and practicing gratitude may not be something you do regularly because it feels like there is not enough to be grateful for. Here are some easy ways to start practicing gratitude.
Start In The Morning
One of the best things any senior can do is create a routine. Take a few minutes to talk about what you are grateful for at the end of your journal entry, and think about all the things that happened the day before that made you smile. At The End
Some of you may not like the mornings, and that is okay. Instead of writing first thing in the morning, choose to reflect before you go to bed.
